Why teach ICT?
The ICT key skill units place great emphasis on purpose, ie using ICT
to solve problems and get things done in the context of a task or activity
which has a real purpose, in a student's work or leisure time. Students
who develop these skills, and see how they help them to do better work
in the context of their main subjects, will become absorbed in and committed
to the work.
