I need to set and review benchmarks; where can I find benchmarks for the key skills?

Centres should be able to see the benchmark data on their ICPR (interactive college performance report) on the LSC Provider Quality Gateway

Benchmarks are useful for evaluating how well you are doing and making new targets for improvement. For this reason, you may find it more useful to make your own benchmarks by looking at your achievement of the last 2 or 3 years. Even if your own performance is higher than that of your peers, you will always want to improve so that as many learners as possible achieve their goals. For this reason, local benchmarks can be deceptive. Your centre will need to set benchmarks and targets keyed to your own practice and results.

The DfES published its First statistical release for the 2004/05 awards of key skills in April this year.   You can also check with your awarding body for statistics they may have published.
