CPD The KSSP has developed a professional development module that offers centres the materials needed for a comprehensive programme to support their staff. The aim of the module is to equip key skills practitioners involved in a wide range of contexts - from Key Stage 4 to Train to Gain - to develop and extend their performance in teaching key skills and to prepare for the introduction of functional skills. The module first presents the rationale and background to key skills. It moves on to allow practitioners to examine the relationship between models of how people learn and their own practice in key skills learning. There are opportunities to explore and apply innovative techniques specific to key skills and to examine implications for their own individual practice and for the organisations they work for. If you would like to speak to one of the hub centres you can find the relevant contact details here.
